CMGA is offering a FREE Tree ID Tour for Interns in five areas of the state in May and June.

Join a group of fellow interns for a guided walk to help you identify native trees, shrubs and vines for your TSV project. CMGA offers these tours to help you to increase your gardening knowledge as part of our commitment to the state’s gardening community, Master Gardeners and Interns.

These tours are for Interns only. Registration is required as space is limited. Please be sure to register for one tour only. Note registration ends a few days before each tour date.

Elizabeth Park, 5/6/25, 10:00 AM - Noon. 1561 Asylum Ave., Hartford. Rain Date: 5/8/25

Sherwood Island, 5/13/25, 10:00 AM - Noon. Ext 18 off I-95, Westport. Meet at the Nature Center. Rain date: 5/20/25

Conn College Arboretum, 5/14/25, 10:00 AM - Noon. Williams St., New London. Meet at Native Plant Collection Gate. Park at 33 Gallows Lane just north of Plant Collection. Rain date: 5/21/25

Goodwin State Forest, 5/17/25, 10:00 - Noon. 23 Potter Rd., Hampton. Meet in front of the Education Center. Rain date: 5/24/25

UConn Fairfield County Extension Office, 6/7/25, 10:00 AM - Noon. 67 Stony Hill Rd., Bethel. Meet in front of the office. Rain date: 6/14/25
