About the Board

According to the CMGA By-laws, "the Board shall consist of no less than fifteen and no more than twenty-five members. If there is a board vacancy, the Board may appoint interim members for the remainder of the fiscal year. In replacing board members, attention will be paid to having representation from all counties.”  

CMGA Board meetings are held remotely on the first Tuesday of each month. Board meetings are open to current CMGA members and invited guests.

The CMGA Board of Directors welcomes Active and Lifetime CMGA members to apply to become a board member. We encourage Master Gardener candidates to apply who are enthusiastic and would like to make a difference by volunteering to help in areas to set strategy, direct and enhance our alumni organization, generate new ideas, assist with the operation of the organization and delivery of its events/activities by participating on one or two committees during the year.
