Find beauty and inspiration on this private, CMGA members-only tour of Dreamland Flower Farm, a family-owned and operated organic farm that cultivates a wide variety of blooms—both annuals and perennials—where dahlias are the stars! Merrie Avallone, owner, landscape designer and florist, grows and stores over 4,500 dahlias annually, and has devoted a large portion of the farm to these showstoppers for the past 25 years. She was recently named the Connecticut Woman Farmer of the Year.

Merrie will give us a tour and a lesson on how to care for and plant dahlias.

Parking is limited to 10 cars. Carpooling at the local commuter lot located off Industrial Park Rd, near I-91 Exit 21 is suggested.

Fee: $10 paid at the farm - CASH ONLY

Registration is required and limited to 20.
