McCue Gardens has grown an impressive selection of over 1400 varieties of perennials, a great selection of native and woodland plants and is now a leading wholesale distributor of quality perennials and wildflowers in New England. Bring a mask, we expect it to be crowded!

While you're in Wethersfield for Nursery Day, you're invited to a special garden tour

Please Join CMGA members and friends for small-group complimentary tour of the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum's Colonial Revival garden anytime from noon to 3 pm on Wed., June 9. This 1920s-style garden is located behind the Museum at 211 Main Street in Wethersfield.  It’s a short walk from McCue Gardens.

When: Anytime from noon – 3:00 p.m.

Master Gardener Rose Riley will briefly discuss the history of the garden, highlight some of the plants in bloom, and talk about the garden's infamous bottomless nursery pots. Visitors may park on the street or in nearby parking lots. It's also a short walk from McCue Gardens.

McCue Gardens is just minutes away from the center of Old Wethersfield which is referred to as “Connecticut’s Most Ancient Towne – deeply devoted to preserving our authentic New England heritage, now over 375 years in the making.” The center of town has many restaurants and businesses, an ancient burial ground and historical museum as well as lovely sidewalk gardens and planters maintained by the businesses and volunteers of the Wethersfield Beautification Trust.
