“Gardening Under the Stars: Saving Our Nocturnal Pollinators and Our Health”
this is a zoom event
Margery Winters is a long-time naturalist and instructor at Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton, as well as a Master Landscape Design Consultant.
Did you know that more pollination takes place in the dark of night than during the day? Did you know that moths navigate by moonlight and get very confused by those party lights on your patio? Margery's talk will focus on our nighttime pollinators and what we can do to make their jobs easier, as well as the effects of light on other wildlife and our own health.
Meeting 9:00-10:00
Presentation 10:00 - 11:00 - Guests Welcome - $10 fee
Registration will open in October.
