The CMGA Board of Directors strives to keep our dues reasonable and affordable. With increasing costs, however, we are often stretched to provide the financial support the Master Gardener Program so richly deserves. Nonetheless, we are committed to providing MG Outreach Grants for approved community service projects, scholarship money for deserving Interns in the UConn MG Program, and stipends to the county MG offices to help defray their operating costs.

In 2022, Through the Generosity of Our Members, We Were Able to Provide $10,875 in Support

This includes over $5,575 in Grants for MG and Intern projects, $3,500 in intern scholarships to the UConn Extension Master Gardener program, and $1,800 in grants to the UConn Extension MG County Offices.

The annual CMGA Garden Symposium is our main fundraising event, and we are committed to our policy of offering discount admission to CMGA members and their guests. The receipt of additional monetary donations will help to enable us to continue this member benefit, in addition to all of the other important CMGA programs previously mentioned.

Please consider making a supplemental donation to your CMGA alumni organization, in any amount. You can make a donation when you renew your annual membership or at any time by clicking the Donate button on this page. You can also contribute through your employer’s Matching Grant Program or Volunteer Grants (if you donate time to the CMGA organization) as other ways to help support all of the important CMGA programs. All donations are tax deductible.
