CMGA quarterly newsletter, The Laurel

The Laurel  is a newsletter published seasonally, four times a year, for members of the Connecticut Master Gardener Association. Issues are mailed directly to current CMGA members and posted online prior to its being mailed each quarter; it is an expanded color version in pdf format. Archived editions may also be accessed online (see link below).

As of 2013 for new members, The Laurel is available online only; we are no longer mailing hard copies.

For existing members prior to 2013, if you would like to stop receiving a hard copy of The Laurel, please send an email to CMGA Membership, You can also OPT OUT on your Annual Membership renewal form. Our trees thank you!

Meet the Editor...Alicia Cornelio

We extend a warm welcome to Alicia Cornelio, who will take over as editor beginning with the Spring 2014 issue (Thank you, Alicia and several other members who offered to help!) Alicia is a computer analyst, educator, librarian, and MG. She authored several articles on librarianship that have appeared in various education journals and is the author of “Elizabeth Park: A Century of Beauty,” written to bring awareness to Harford's gem and leave a lasting record of its rich history and beauty.
